Roles and Responsibilities: 

1. Payroll Processing: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of salaries and benefits to employees.

2. Compliance Management: Stay abreast of relevant tax laws, labor regulations, and payroll compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to legal standards.

3. Data Accuracy: Maintain precise records of employee working hours, leaves, and other relevant information to ensure accurate payroll calculations.

4. Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, coordinating with relevant departments.

5. Payroll Software Expertise: Utilize advanced knowledge of payroll software to streamline processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement system upgrades or changes.

6. Tax Filings: Prepare and file payroll-related taxes, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

7. Audit and Reporting: Conduct regular audits of payroll data for accuracy and completeness and generate reports for analysis and decision-making.

8. Employee Inquiries: Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and taxes, providing timely and accurate information.

9. Process Improvements: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll operations.

10. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with overall business operations.

11. Year-End Activities: Manage year-end payroll activities, including W-2 and other relevant document preparation and distribution.

12. Training and Development: Provide training to HR and other staff on payroll-related policies, procedures, and compliance matters.
